How the new year has flown by already! For 2024, we excited to explore the ever-changing furniture and commercial landscape. Will cubicles reappear in the office? Will workers experience hybrid malaise? Will the open office be rebranded? Only time will tell. But we stand by an unwavering commitment to create spaces that foster employee well-being and productivity, and evolve with the changes of time.
As part of a new edition to our newsletters, in partnership with our Architectural Products Division, we will feature the latest and greatest in architectural interiors. As our first product feature, we are delighted to introduce Tek Work, the newest addition to Teknion's innovative POD (privacy on demand) product line.

Tek Work: Focused Work in Open Plan Environments
Tek Work's universal approach to planning works with a wide variety of freestanding Teknion furniture and can easily be grouped with other POD products such as the Tek Booth or Tek Room.
Tek Work's height-adjustable worksurface enhances user comfort and ergonomics, promoting longer work sessions. It features task lighting for focused work, ceiling light that serves as a general spatial light, and an optional face light for better video call appearance.
Our Stadium + Arena Team was happy to complete this milestone project for the Acrisure Arena. The 11,000+ capacity venue is home of the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team, and provides top-tier amenities of a modern music and sports venue. We’d like to wish a very happy retirement to Mike Clow. His contributions to The Collective over the past 30+ years have been hugely impactful to The Collective’s growth, from managing Operations, facilitating account relationships with tech giants, and most recently co-leading the Architectural Products Division.

With the power of historic preservation laws and our connection to culturally significant spaces, repurposing older buildings is flourishing. We witness the transformation of early 20th-century department stores into sought-after office and residential spaces.
Teknion’s Steve Delfino foresees intentional reevaluations of office design to meet the needs of modern dynamic work environments. Delfino emphasizes the shift away from open-plan offices, driven by issues such as noise and privacy concerns.
